Drop-in art class

Try your hand at drawing and painting through a series of short practical art projects in the tranquil and inspirational setting of Guildhall Art Gallery. This is a unique opportunity to develop your artistic skills guided by a tutor. Beginners are very welcome.

Autumn dates: 14 September - 7 December 2010
Time: every Monday 3.30 pm-5.00 pm
Fee: £3.00 per session payable on the day and admission to the Gallery is free to participants

Evening art course

This course offers a unique opportunity for both beginners and more advanced students to develop their artistic skills in the context of the Gallery’s extensive collection. The course will enable students to plan and develop composition using a variety of media. Short briefing sessions will be supported by pre-planned course material. Students will work on their individual projects with support and guidance from the tutor.

Free Friday tours

Why not combine a visit to the Gallery and Roman Amphitheatre with a free tour of the highlights of the Gallery's permanent collection. The tours take place every Friday at 12.15pm, 1.15pm, 2.15pm and 3.15pm and booking is not needed.
